Adriana Lima spotted in NYC shoot days after split from husband Marko Jaric

NEW YORK, May 8 (UPI) -- Adriana Lima looked focused as she executed a photo shoot for cosmetics brand Maybelline in the streets of New York City on Tuesday.

The model's sighting comes four days days after it was revealed that she was splitting from husband of five years Marko Jaric, but Lima, 32, appeared to be in good spirits as she posed for pictures in skinny jeans, a white top and a furry vest in SoHo.

Lima and Jaric told People magazine in a joint statement that: "After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage."

"We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters that we will continue to co-parent," the statement read. "We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family's privacy as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family."

The former couple married in 2009 after three years of dating and have a 19-month-old daughter, Sienna and a 5-year-old, Valentina.
