LOS ANGELES, April 29 (UPI) -- Naya Rivera has reportedly been "written out" of Glee just weeks after rumors began that she was feuding with costar Lea Michele on the set of Fox's hit series.

PopWrapped’s co-founder, Zachary Jaydon broke the news about Rivera's firing in a tweet on Thursday.

"I have CONFIRMED that Naya Rivera WILL NOT be appearing in the #GLEE Season 5 Finale' as originally planned. Stay-tuned for more details," Jaydon wrote.

Reports of Rivera's firing began two weeks ago after she reportedly got into an argument with producers over Michele's diva behavior. Sources close to the situation told New York Daily News that while Rivera did go off on set "it had nothing to do with Lea."

"One costar would not have any power in whether another returns to the show," the source said about rumors that Michele had a say in Rivera's firing.

Reports of Rivera's departure from Glee come three weeks after rapper Big Sean ended his engagement to the actress.
