LOS ANGELES, April 16 (UPI) -- Actor Alan Thicke said his son Robin Thicke's breakup with wife Paula Patton won't be heavily featured on the elder Thicke's new reality series, Unusually Thicke.
"You won't see his drama," Alan Thicke said of the show, which is on TVGN. "You'll see a couple of appearances, cameos by Robin checking up on me.
"Of course, I'm happy to exploit him as much as possible," he added. "He's clearly an important part of the family and good enough to participate a little bit.
The Growing Pains actor said he hopes his son and Patton will be happy.
"That's the key thing. You want your kids to be happy. They're strong, smart and talented people and they'll make great decisions," Alan Thicke said of a possible reconciliation.
