LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) -- The Grand Budapest Hotel has surpassed the $100 million mark and is officially Wes Anderson's most successful film to date.
The movie has grossed $103.8 million worldwide since its debut in theaters on March 28, and its four-theater opening weekend March 7-9 was the highest-grossing limited live-action debut in history. Comparatively, Anderson's second-biggest film, The Royal Tenenbaums, has grossed $71 million since its January 2002 premiere.
