Younger follows actress Sutton Foster's character Liza -- a 40-year-old newly single mom who struggles with her reentry into the workforce. She pretends she is 26 years old with the help of a makeover from her best friend, Maggie (Debi Mazar), and is able to land a job as an assistant to publishing house marketing executive Diana (Miriam Shor). Duff portrays Kelsey, Liza's new coworker and friend, who is unaware of Liza's actual age.

The new series will be filmed in New York. A premiere date has not yet been set.
