LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) -- Brandy and Ryan Press are no longer together.
A rep for the 35-year-old singer broke the news about the split Tuesday telling Us Weekly that the couple will remain friendly.
"They are no longer together. The engagement is off, but the friendship is still on," the rep said, adding that the couple had decided to "take a step back and reevaluate the relationship."
"Brandy has a daughter [Sy'rai, 12,] and she still wants to be married and have more kids but she is working on so many other things right now," the rep continued. "They haven't ended things on a bad note and they still speak all the time."
The "Put It Down" singer and Press announced their engagement in December 2012.
