Nicki Minaj stuns fans with natural look at 2014 MTV Movie Awards

Minaj is well-known for her colorful wigs and elaborate makeup, but has chosen a more natural look in recent months.

LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- Nicki Minaj stunned fans with her natural, toned-down look Sunday at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.

The 31-year-old singer wore a simple, black Alexander McQueen dress with cutout side details, and accessorized with gold jewelry. Her long, black hair was styled in a loose wave, and her minimal makeup was in a natural palette.

Minaj is well known for her colorful wigs and elaborate makeup, but has chosen to sport a more natural look in recent months. The star even posted several selfies of herself without makeup on her Instagram in March.
