LONDON, April 14 (UPI) -- Keira Knightley said she doesn't really have a personal life while filming.

According to a report by IANS via Yahoo, the 29-year-old actress credits her "extreme" work schedule for the fallout between her and her loved ones.

''When I'm not working it's really about seeing as many friends as possible and making sure I'm there in their lives," she said. "The way I work is extreme. You can't really have a personal life if you're working on films all the time. There's Skype, but, really, there's just no way of doing it."

The Anna Karenina star went on to say that while filming, "hours are so long" and she's rarely able to stay in the same place for a good amount of time.

"You're always in a different country, you're always doing a different thing," she added.

Knightley will next be seen in the upcoming biopic about mathematician Alan Turing, The Imitation Game, in theaters sometime in 2014.
