Jennifer Lawrence, 'Hunger Games' big winners at MTV Movie Awards

LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was the top movie of the year according to the MTV Movie Awards, which sent the film home with three golden popcorn awards.

Jennifer Lawrence was given the best female performance award, co-star Josh Hutcherson got best male performance, and the film was named movie of the year.

Other winners included:

-- Will Poulter for breakthrough performance in We're the Millers.

-- Emma Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Will Poulter for best kiss in We're the Millers.

-- Shailene Woodley for favorite character in Divergent.

-- Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly for best fight in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

-- Jonah Hill for best comedic performance in The Wolf of Wall Street.

-- Brad Pitt for best scared-as-expletive performance in World War Z.

-- Vin Diesel and Paul Walker for best on-screen duo in Fast & Furious 6.

-- Zac Efron for best shirtless performance in That Awkward Moment.

-- The Wolf of Wall Street for #WTF moment for the so-called Lude Scene.

-- Mila Kunis for best villain in Oz The Great and Powerful.

-- Jared Leto for best on-screen transformation in Dallas Buyers Club.

-- Backstreet Boys, Jay Baruchel, Seth Rogen and Craig Robinson for best musical moment in This is the End.

-- Rihanna for best cameo performance in This is the End.

-- Henry Cavil for best hero as Superman in Man of Steel.

-- Channing Tatum for the trailblazer award.

-- and Mark Wahlberg for the generation award.
