Jennifer Lawrence, 'Hunger Games' big winners at MTV Movie Awards

"Hunger Games: Catching Fire" named movie of the year, while two stars take home acting awards.

LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was the top movie of the year according to the MTV Movie Awards, which sent the film home with three golden popcorn awards.

Jennifer Lawrence was given the best female performance award, co-star Josh Hutcherson got best male performance, and the film was named movie of the year.

-- Emma Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Will Poulter for best kiss in We're the Millers.

-- Shailene Woodley for favorite character in Divergent.

-- Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly for best fight in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

-- Jonah Hill for best comedic performance in The Wolf of Wall Street.

-- Brad Pitt for best scared-as-expletive performance in World War Z.

-- Vin Diesel and Paul Walker for best on-screen duo in Fast & Furious 6.

-- Zac Efron for best shirtless performance in That Awkward Moment.
