NEW YORK, April 13 (UPI) -- Seth Rogen called on some famous friends for his third stab at hosting Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

His monologue chronicled his week at the show, which apparently involved a "prank" on his friend and frequent co-star James Franco, who may or may not have seduced an underage girl on Instagram.

Rogen said he posed as a teenage girl for the ruse.

“I told him I was way young. He seemed unfazed. I have a date to meet him at the Ace Hotel."

Zooey Deschanel also showed up with her ukelele and Taylor Swift, who happens to be close friends with musical guest Ed Sheeran, interrupted the monologue to offer her support.

"Every time a man shows emotion, I appear," she quipped.
