NEW YORK, April 13 (UPI) -- British singer Ed Sheeran debuted two songs -- Sing and Don't -- from his forthcoming album, X, on Saturday Night Live.

He opened with the Pharrell-co-written song, Sing, which he described as being about finding love while sneaking drinks at a dry music industry party.

His second song of the night was Don't, a breakup song about his real relationship with another singer who slept with a friend of his. Sheeran has said the song isn't about Taylor Swift, with whom he is currently on tour.
