NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Canadian recording artist Drake will be hosting 2014's ESPY awards.
TMZ reports that the "Take Care" rapper was "extremely passionate" about hosting the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards and pointed producers to his praised Saturday Night Live performance as proof that he has what it takes to appear on live television. Additionally, Drake perviously hosted the 2011 Juno Awards in Canada.
Producers have reportedly offered him the job and Drake is said to be already rehearsing for the July event.
