LOS ANGELES, April 8 (UPI) -- Battlestar Galactica, which developed a cult following when its short-lived first series aired from 1978 to 1979, might be due for a big-screen reboot.
Rumors of a film adaptation have existed for years since the the Sci-Fi channel's highly-acclaimed interpretation aired from 2004 to 2009. But Universal Studios has reportedly taken the first steps and signed original series creator Glen Larson to produce and Transcendence screenwriter Jack Paglen to pen the script.
