Justin Timberlake's '20/20' tour extended in the U.S.

Tickets for the new U.S. tour dates will go on sale Monday, April 14.

MANCHESTER, England, April 7 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake plans to extend his 20/20 World Experience tour in the United States.

The 33-year-old singer originally planned to finish the tour in New Zealand this fall, but will return to the U.S. for an extended leg that begins in November.

Timberlake kicked off the tour in New York City on November 6, 2013. The 20/20 World Experience was launched in support of his two 2013 albums, The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2.

The tour has been a hit so far, and has received widespread critical acclaim. Timberlake and designer Tom Ford have created more than 600 costumes for the singer and his team to wear during their performances.

The star is currently on tour in Europe, and will perform in Manchester, England on Monday and Tuesday night. He will return to the U.S. from July to mid-August, and leave again for Europe and then Oceania.

The extended U.S. portion will begin November 20 in Portland, Ore., and the tour will come to a final close on December 20 in Atlanta, Ga. Tickets for the new U.S. tour dates will go on sale Monday, April 14.
