Willard Scott marries longtime girlfriend at 80

The original Ronald McDonald is married.

The Today Show's Willard Scott married longtime girlfriend Paris Keena in Fort Myers, Florida on Tuesday.

The 80-year-old television personality first met Keena in 1977 when she worked for NBC's Washington affiliate, WRC. The two became friends and began dating 11 years ago. Since then, the pair has been splitting their time between Florida, Virginia and Connecticut.

Asked about their honeymoon plans, Keena told Today, "Our whole life has been a honeymoon."

Scott is best known for his work on The Today Show -- he's been part of the Today family for 30 years -- and for being the creator and original portrayer of Ronald McDonald.
