Miley Cyrus 'devastated' over death of her dog Floyd

Miley Cyrus is going through the "third worst day of her life."

The 21-year-old singer took to Twitter Wednesday to sadly announce to her fans that her dog Floyd had died.

"I don't wanna say it because I don't want it to be real... But my precious baby Floyd has passed away. I am broken," Cyrus tweeted alongside a picture of herself with her dog.

Cyrus continued to grieve on the social media site writing that she was "miserable" and apologizing in advance if she wasn't "her best" during her upcoming concert in Boston.

The singer went on to say the situation was unbearable and that she wished, in a way, that Floyd would've taken her with him.

"What you don't understand is he's not in a better place," she wrote.
