Stewart took to Twitter to post a series of photos of himself with McKellen as the pair explored New York in the days leading up to the play finale. The two friends posed with a poster of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, perched upon public bikes, and stood at the rear of what appears to be Wall Street's Charging Bull. The actor ended the photo series with a picture of their silhouettes in a farewell to the play.

Stewart and McKellen will next appear together on film in X-Men: Days of Future Past on May 23. See even more photos of the legendary pair on Stewart's Twitter account here.
