Sandra Bullock may have a Miss Congeniality television series in the works.

A source told RadarOnline that the actress wants to create a TV spinoff of the 2000 comedy. Bullock will not appear in the show, but would serve as producer for the series. The star previously served as an executive producer for The George Lopez Show from 2002-2007.

The new show would be "Bridesmaids meets 24," the source said.

"Sandra loved her Miss Congeniality FBI agent character Gracie Hart...so much that for years she has continued to keep up friendships with FBI agents she met while researching it," the insider continued. "Sandra loves that real FBI agents, particularly female ones, continue to respond to and write her letters about both Miss Congeniality and The Heat."

Other details, including the person who would play Gracie, are currently unknown.

"Sandra just feels like its time to bring this story to a new generation!" the source exclaimed.
