Bethenny Frankel appeared on Tuesday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live to discuss her life in the wake of two very public endings -- her still ongoing separation from estranged husband Jason Hoppy and the demise of her talk show, Bethenny.

Frankel said that she didn't want to discuss her divorce for the sake of her 3-year-old daugther, Bryn, but did say that she's "dating."

"I am dating and I'm happy," Frankel said. "I'm good. I finally feel a little bit of liberation and a little bit of freedom, just a little bit of not, just feeling so bad. It's been a really, really hard time."

The 43-year-old television personality also seemed to have come to terms with the cancellation of her daytime talk show, Bethenny, which was fraught with rumors of backstage tension.

“I felt edited and diluted, a little bit controlled,” she told Bravo's Andy Cohen. “And I'm not really great when I'm shackled. As you know, you have to kind of unleash the beast.”

"Ultimately, it was not what I really should be doing," Frankel added. "I really didn't love it the way that I thought that I would."
