Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are still working on their marriage, according to the Blurred Lines singer, who told People on Wednesday that he and his estranged wife are "doing well."
"We're both very happy right now -- much happier," he said, though he wouldn't clarify whether they'd reconciled. "Everything about this moment in my life -- this amazing year I just had and what I'm going through personally -- has actually ignited some of the best writing I've done in a long time."
Thicke told reporters last month that he wanted to repair his marriage, after Patton apparently initiated the split.
"I'm just trying to get her back," he told a paparazzo and dedicated a song to her during a Virginia concert.
"She's a good woman," he said, before singing "Lost Without You."
He also sang "Let's Stay Together" in Atlantic City earlier this month.
"She loved it," Thicke told People. "She thought it was the sweetest thing and very romantic, and I've always been a romantic guy that way."
