Jamie Dornan watched 'Sex and The City' before sex scenes: Report

Jamie Dornan spoke about the activities that kept him busy on the set of his upcoming miniseries New Worlds during an interview with British newspaper, The Sun.

Dornan, who stars as Abe in the period drama, reportedly said he watched Sex and The City before filming the show's steamy scenes.

"[Costar] Joe [Dempsie] and I watched all the Sex and The City box sets," the 31-year-old Irish actor told the newspaper. "That helped...We had a ball, it was a good [fun]."

Sources later told E! News that the comments were meant to be "tongue in cheek" and that Dornan didn't in fact watch the HBO hit series.

Either way, he sure had a blast while filming the mini-series.

"Obviously we're getting the work done but you're allowed to have fun at work," he dished. "I'd stop if I wasn't allowed to have fun."
