Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls tour is not happening

The Backstreet Boys will still return to North America for a continuation of their "In a World Like This" tour.

The Backstreet Boys will not be going on tour with the Spice Girls after all.

Fan excitement was at a fever pitch earlier this week when rumors began that the 90s megastars might join forces for a tour. Hopes have unfortunately been dashed, as a rep for the Backstreet Boys has told MTV the tour is definitely not happening.

The Backstreet Boys will still return to North America for a continuation of their In a World Like This tour. Avril Lavigne will perform on tour with the band, and their first U.S. appearance is on May 22 in Seattle.
