In case you forgot that the eternally handsome Rob Lowe is capable of aging, the 1980's icon and Parks and Recreation star turned 50 on Monday -- the same day that 4.4-magnitude earthquake rattled California.

"If I had any remaining doubt that turning 50 was seismic, this a.m.'s Hollywood earthquake made the point! #TheBigOne," Lowe tweeted.

Lowe also received some birthday love from the other side of the country. The American Association of Retired Persons sketched Lowe's face onto sidewalk-chalk membership cards in four different locations around New York.

AAPR has tweeted all day about Lowe's 50th, posting photos of their street art and linking to Buzzfeed articles.
