Canadian pop star Justin Bieber is set to go to trial on May 5 over the DUI he received in Miami earlier this year. Lawyers agreed to the date during a brief hearing Tuesday at Miami-Dade’s criminal courthouse. Prosecutors did not offer a plea deal.

The hearing came one day after TMZ released videos of Bieber's deposition regarding a lawsuit filed against one of his bodyguards. The clips show the 20-year-old singer undermining the attorney every chance he gets and refusing to answer questions because he doesn't understand them or simply refuses to acknowledge them.
The clips followed 10 others released by prosecutors of his criminal case in which the singer is seen at the police station at the time of his arrest. The clips include shots of Bieber undergoing a sobriety test, doing push ups in a cell and urinating for a drug test.
The "Boyfriend" crooner was arrested on January 23 after authorities found him drag racing in a residential neighborhood in Miami. At the time he told police he was under the influence of beer, anti-depressants and had been smoking marijuana all day. He was charged with DUI, drag racing, driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest. A later test showed that the singer was not legally drunk.
