LOS ANGELES, March 10 (UPI) -- Though its nice to see high-school nerds become successful and good-looking later in life, Matthew McConaughey has nearly always been successful and good-looking.

The newly minted Oscar winner's former classmate, Adrian Harris Forman, told People last week that McConaughey "was always the cutest guy" at Longview High School, "and there were a lot of cute guys in Texas."

"He was always so good looking and he was always a standout," Forman said of his old classmate, who was reportedly voted "Most Handsome," and excelled at both academics and sports.

"He always loved hanging out and was a fun guy to be around," Forman added.

Some of that charm and charisma was on display in a recently resurfaced prom photo, which made the rounds on social media shortly after McConaughey picked up his Oscar.
