MIAMI, March 7 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber got sassy during a four-and-a-half hour deposition on Thursday and lost his cool when a lawyer questioned him about ex-flame Selena Gomez.

TMZ reported that Bieber was at the deposition to address a lawsuit filed against him by photographer Jeffrey Binion. The paparazzo claims the singer had his bodyguard beat him up and threaten him with a gun during an altercation last June.

Bieber lost it when a lawyer asked if ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was present during any of the singer's multiple fights with photographers. The star's own attorney, Howard Weitzman, objected to the question, but the lawyer persisted and asked again.

Weitzman complained that his client was being harassed, but the opposing lawyer asked about Gomez yet again. Bieber stormed out at that point, followed by Weitzman, and screamed, "Don't ask me about her, do not ask me about her!" as he left.

The touchy star had posted a picture of Gomez in her Oscar after-party dress on his Instagram earlier this week with the caption, "Most elegant princess in the world." The open adoration led many fans to question if the two would potentially get back together.

Bieber and his lawyer returned minutes later, but the questions about Gomez had gotten Bieber's blood up. His responses became sarcastic, "What is this, 60 Minutes?", he swore in response to questions, and he goaded, "Okay, Katie Couric, what's your question again?"

All of Thursday's testimony was recorded and may be used later in court.
