LONDON, March 7 (UPI) -- Emilia Clarke has given up eating "anything that's tastes good at all" as she prepares for her role as Sarah Connor in the upcoming film, Terminator: Genesis.

In an interview for the March issue of InStyle UK, the 26-yer-old Game of Thrones star opened up about her upcoming gig in the next installment of the Terminator saga.

"I've been spending all day every day, in weapons training. I've been shooting guns, weightlifting, kickboxing and generally kicking a lot of ass," she said. "On top of that, I have not been allowed to eat anything that might taste good at all."

Filming for Terminator: Genesis begins in New Orleans in April; the Alan Taylor-directed film is expected to come out in 2015. Until then, Clarke will have to stay away from consuming wheat, sugar, caffeine or dairy products in addition to training every day.

Clarke also opened up about her love life during the interview, explaining that while people "keep asking her" if she's saying anyone, the simple answer is "no one."

"And that's OK. I'm figuring out a lot of stuff right now," she said. "I think as a woman it's in our nature to nurture someone else. Sometimes at the expense of ourselves."
