Selena Gomez calls Vanessa Hudgens her 'official party buddy'

LOS ANGELES, March 4 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez hasn't addressed Justin Bieber's Instagram post about her being the "Most elegant princess in the world." Instead, the singer took to the image sharing site herself to express her loyalty to someone else.

In a picture posted to Gomez's Instagram account Monday, the singer appears hugging her Spring Breakers co-star Vanessa Hudgens in her Oscars party dress -- the same dress she was wearing in the pictures posted by her ex-boyfriend on the night of the party.

But unlike Bieber, who made use of his post to compliment her, the "Come and Get it" crooner made her photo caption all about her friend.

"@vanessahudgens my only, official party buddy for life ;)," Gomez wrote in the caption.

Bieber's post about his former love, comes weeks after he allegedly called Gomez a drunk after it was revealed that people in her entourage thought he was a bad influence on her.

Bieber and Gomez dated on-and-off for two years until they broke up in November 2012.
