LOS ANGELES, March 4 (UPI) -- Random celebrity slip ups -- think Jennifer Lawrence -- are often the best part of awards shows. But John Travolta's spectacularly off-the-wall mispronunciation of Idina Menzel's name was so bizarre it inspired its own Twitter account and Monday's best online time-waster, "Travoltify Your Name."
It was only a matter of time before Travolta had to defend himself.

His response? Let it go.
On Tuesday, he released this statement via his publicist:
I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought…what would Idina Menzel say? She’d say, ‘Let it go, let it go!’ Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy Frozen took home two Oscars Sunday night!
