Liza Minnelli comes up short in Ellen's epic selfie

LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- Ellen DeGeneres Oscar selfie -- now the most retweeted image ever -- seems to have everyone who's anyone in it.

Hollywood royalty Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie all make appearances, as do it-stars Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and Lupita N'yongo. Channing Tatum squeezes in, as does newly minted Oscar winner Jared Leto, and Kevin Spacey fills in with a meme-worthy expression in the back. Even N'yongo's brother gets in close.

But for Liza Minnelli, it just wasn't to be.

The Oscar-winner tried to sneak into the shot, but she was nowhere near tall enough to be seen over the crowd.

And poor Liza's indignity would have gone unnoticed, except someone captured it from behind, and posted the photo on Twitter:
