LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles judge has ordered Chris Brown to remain in treatment for another two months, until he stands trial for the alleged assault of a 20-year-old in Washington, D.C.
Health officials from Brown's Malibu rehab facility said the 24-year-old singer "became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.
They referenced a November incident in which Brown smashed his mother's car window with a rock.
Brown's treatment supervisors said he suffered from previously untreated Bipolar II.
"Mr. Brown will also require close supervision by his treating physician in order to ensure his bipolar mental health condition remains stable," the report said.
Brown reportedly "seemed disappointed" by the decision, and meditated for several minutes afterward.
"Never really goes the way u plan. #LIFE," he tweeted later.
The treatment facility also said that Brown has displayed good behavior in rehab, and attends six to eight therapy sessions per week.
Brown is due back in court April 23.
