WINDSOR, Ontario, March 1 (UPI) -- Comedian George Lopez issued a statement to TMZ joking about his arrest for public intoxication at a Canadian casino Thursday night.
Lopez, 52, was arrested at Ontario's Caesars Windsor in Canada after he was found passed out on the floor in the hotel casino. He had performed a stand-up routine at the hotel earlier that night.
“Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning. I was trying to sleep it off, unfortunately, it was on the casino floor," he said in the statement.
Lopez was snapped laying on the floor by a passerby.

No charges were filed, but he was taken into custody until he sobered up.
In an interview in 2005, Lopez said he no longer drinks after receiving a kidney transplant from his wife.
"I have a total change of life. I'm done drinking alcohol and … maybe done smoking cigars, which I love. I'm not going to abuse my body. For the first time in my life, because of [my wife] Ann, I'm going to live the healthy life that I should have been living. Whatever happens to me professionally and wherever my golf swing goes, nothing is more important than the fact that my wife gave me a chance to live. I can't pay her back, but what I can do is make her as happy as she thought I would when we first got married," he said two months after his surgery.
