FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Robin Thicke has not given up on his marriage to Paula Patton.

In addition to telling paparazzi Thursday that he was "trying to [his wife] back," the "Blurred Lines" crooner took a moment during his Fairfax, Va. concert later that day to let the crowd know he still loved Patton.

"For y'all that don't know me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman," Thicke told the audience before dedicating "Lost Without You" to his estranged wife.

Thicke's actions come days after the 2 Guns actress announced she was separating from her husband of nine years.

Thicke and Patton met 20 years ago, when he was 14 and she was 16; the pair married in 2005 and have a son, Julian Fuego Thicke.
