WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Kate Mara turns thirty-one today, and the actress certainly has plenty to celebrate.

Mara was revealed as part of the upcoming Fantastic Four cast on Thursday of last week. The actress is set to play Sue Storm, AKA: the Invisible Woman, a role Mara confirmed on her Twitter that very same day:

Mara has enjoyed other recent success with the House of Cards second season premiere. She stars as Zoe Barnes alongside Kevin Spacey in the popular Netflix original series, which made the entire second season available for streaming on Valentine's Day.

The busy actress admitted to In Touch Weekly that she hasn't had time to watch her own series.

"I'm not done yet. I haven't seen the whole season. I thought I was going to binge on the first two days, but on Valentine's Day, I was so tired I only got to episode five, so now I'm on episode seven."

House of Cards was renewed for a third season earlier this month, and the Fantastic Four reboot is scheduled to release in June of next year.
