ATLANTA, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Atlanta police found marijuana in an Escalade seized at Justin Bieber's home on Tuesday.
Police took possession of the vehicle after they arrested Bieber's driver and his bodyguard on charges of theft, TMZ reports.
The two had gotten in an altercation earlier that day with photographers who were waiting for Bieber outside an amusement park. His bodyguard allegedly got into an argument with one of the photographers and took his camera, then handed it off to Bieber's driver who drove away with it.
Police found the camera inside the Escalade, which was parked outside Bieber's newly-rented spaceship home. They returned the $10,000 camera to the photographer, who had followed the vehicle to the house. Bieber's bodyguard and driver were subsequently arrested for felony theft.
Police took possession of the vehicle after the arrest and towed it to police headquarters. During an inspection at the station, they found less than one ounce of marijuana and two large pipes with marijuana residue.
TMZ has expressed concern for Bieber in the past because of Atlanta's strict marijuana laws, but the amount found was not enough to charge anyone with a crime. The driver told law enforcement that he had no knowledge of the marijuana found.
The incident is the latest in a string of controversies involving the 19-year-old singer.
