NEW YORK, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Robin Thicke has canceled his Tuesday night show at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in North Carolina, "due to unforeseen circumstances," just one day after his wife, Paula Patton, announced their separation.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robin Thicke will postpone his performance at Harrah's Cherokee originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 25. This concert will be rescheduled and the new date announced as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience," Harrah's Cherokee Casino said in a statement.
Thicke, 36, was supposed to start his national with an Atlanta show on Friday and Orlando on Saturday, but canceled both gigs because he lost his voice.
"I never want to let down my fans but I have unfortunately lost my voice and cannot perform tomorrow night," Thicke said Thursday.
According to TMZ, however, Thicke canceled his Atlanta show to fly to Vancouver to convince Patton to save their marriage. Sources said that Patton broke the break-up news to Thicke on Friday.
"I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days," Thicke wrote Tuesday on his website. "My fans mean everything to me. I’m looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"
