LONDON, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Gwyneth Paltrow and designer Michael Kors teamed up to offer a holiday fashion collection on Paltrow's lifestyle website Goop.com.

Paltrow said she was inspired by her personal collection of vintage Kors items for the collaboration.

"Michael's clothes are gorgeous, staple, American classics that never go out of style," she said. "I thought it would be wonderful to reinvent some of my favorite vintage Michael Kors looks that I have kept for years, that I wear over and over. These elegant, luxurious pieces will stay in the closet forever and be passed down. I'm thrilled with what we created."

The limited-edition, ready-to-wear collection will be available on Goop.com in December, along with pieces from the Michael Kors Collection and MICHAEL Michael Kors lines, Britain's The Daily Telegraph reported.

Paltrow previously collaborated with designers Stella McCartney and Matthew Williamson for her website.
