ALFRED, Maine, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Sally Struthers' lawyer has pleaded no contest on the TV actress' behalf to a charge of driving to endanger, Maine court documents show.

Struthers, 66, is best known for her work on the shows "All in the Family," "Gloria" and "Gilmore Girls."

She had been in Maine appearing in "9 to 5: The Musical" at the Ogunquit Playhouse when she was arrested Sept. 12, 2012, for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Portland Press Herald said Friday the DUI charge was dismissed after Struthers agreed to the no-contest plea of the lesser charge of driving to endanger.

Struthers was sentenced to pay $1,210 in fines and fees, and her driver's license was suspended for 30 days, starting Sept. 3, the newspaper said.
