Prince William and wife Kate to attend charity dinner Sept. 12

LONDON, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- British Prince William and wife Kate have confirmed plans to attend the Tusk Trust charity awards dinner Sept. 12, People.com said.

"That is the plan at the moment," a palace source told the celebrity news website Thursday.

This will mark Kate's return to her royal duties after giving birth to Prince George last month.

The newborn is third in line for the British throne behind his father William and grandfather Prince Charles. William's paternal grandmother is seated monarch Queen Elizabeth II.
