LOS ANGELES, July 13 (UPI) -- Paris Jackson was moved to a residential treatment center after spending a month in a Los Angeles hospital for attempting suicide, a source told People.
The 15-year-old daughter of the late pop music icon Michael Jackson was admitted to the psychiatric facility at UCLA Medical Center after cutting her arm with a kitchen knife and taking dozens of Motrin pills June 5.
The high-school student was being treated for depression.
People magazine reported Saturday she was being moved to an undisclosed long-term residential treatment center that her grandmother Katherine Jackson and biological mother Debbie Rowe selected.
"The feeling is that Paris is still a danger to herself," the source told People. "Both Katherine and Debbie want her to get the help that she needs."
