Prince William's baby will be prince or princess of Cambridge

LONDON, July 8 (UPI) -- The first child of Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate will be known as the prince or princess of Cambridge, Buckingham Palace said Monday.

The baby, who is due to be born this month, will be the first person to ever hold this particular title.

The royal couple's official titles are the duke and duchess of Cambridge.

Prince William is the elder son of Prince Charles and his late ex-wife Princess Diana, and the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II.
