LOS ANGELES, July 8 (UPI) -- Dane Cook says he plans to kick off "Under Oath," his latest U.S. stand-up comedy tour, Sept. 12 in Washington.
This will be his first stage tour since 2009.
"As a comedian, I am obligated to tell you the truth, my truth," Cook told EW.com, while promoting his upcoming string of shows. "To share with you my beliefs, my perspective. And I think that we forget sometimes that that's the oath that comics take, that we will go up and share everything -- the irreverent, the scary."
"Under Oath" is to wrap up Oct 19 in Boston.
Tickets for all the shows are to go on sale Friday.
