PALM BEACH, Fla., July 7 (UPI) -- Patricia Krentcil, aka Tan Mom, was rushed to the hospital Sunday after suffering a seizure while at a Palm Beach, Fla., rehabilitation facility, TMZ reported.
Krentcil checked into The Lukens Institute June 20 for 30 days of treatment for alcoholism.
Sources told TMZ she had a seizure at the institute and was rushed to a hospital in Palm Beach.
Sources said Krentcil was stabilized and is resting. She is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days while doctors monitor her.
Krentcil made headlines in May 2012 when she pleaded innocent to child endangerment charges after she allowed her 5-year-old daughter to use a tanning bed. School officials noticed burns on the girl's legs and reported them to authorities.
