Henry Cavill: Justice League movie won't happen 'right away'

Henry Cavill is currently zooming across movie theater screens, bringing in ticket sales for "Man of Steel" to the tune of $400 million in just a few weeks.

But despite the Superman reboot's success -- or perhaps, because of it -- DC comics and Warner Bros. aren't rushing to cash in on the franchise with a Justice League movie.

Cavill said a potential film, bringing Superman together with Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the other major superheroes of the DC universe, would require very careful planning.

"It has to be done very delicately with a lot of thought," Cavill said. "So, it won't be right away. I hope it's not, anyway."

"It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters and introducing them together in one way or another," he said. "Justice League could be great if done correctly. It's a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power. So in this real world universe, real-world setting we're telling our story in, it's going to be tough to achieve that."

The 30-year-old Brit will next star in the remake of "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," starring as Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer's Illya Kuryakin.
