HOLLYWOOD, June 22 (UPI) -- Musician and actress Jennifer Lopez said it was "so surreal" to receive the 2,500th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The star accepted her honor during a ceremony Thursday, the Los Angeles Times reported.

"It is so overwhelming. It's so surreal," Lopez told Joan Rivers during an interview on E! "For a romantic like me, who believes in forever, it's a big day."
Actor Keenan Ivory Wayans, who was responsible for giving Lopez her first break as a Fly Girl on "In Living Color," spoke on her behalf at the ceremony, the Times reported.
Also speaking for Lopez was her "Monster-in-Law" co-star Jane Fonda, hip-hop protege Pitbull, and longtime manager Benny Medina.
