Hearing set for Lohan suit by nanny

HOLLYWOOD, April 27 (UPI) -- A hearing was set for Lindsay Lohan, who allegedly failed to respond to a suit by a woman who said the actress hit her with her car in Hollywood, TMZ reported.

Nubia Del Carmen Preza sued Lohan after the "Mean Girls" star allegedly nicked her with her Maserati while exiting a parking garage in her West Hollywood neighborhood in September 2010, TMZ said.

Preza, a nanny, was pushing a baby stroller at the time and said Lohan narrowly missed hitting the child.

The nanny's attorney filed legal documents wanting answers from Lohan about the alleged accident, but she never responded, TMZ reported.

A hearing has been set for May 8 for a judge to determine whether Lohan should face fines for failing to answer the questions, the celebrity gossip website said.

Lohan is scheduled to be in rehab on the date of the hearing.
