Nichols to direct Craig and Weisz in Broadway play 'Betrayal'

NEW YORK, April 5 (UPI) -- Married British film stars Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are to co-star with Rafe Spall on Broadway in Harold Pinter's "Betrayal," producers announced Friday.

To be directed by 10-time Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols, the play will begin its limited engagement Oct. 1 at the Barrymore Theatre. Opening night is set for Nov. 3 and the drama is scheduled to run through Jan. 5.

Weisz will play Emma, who is married to publisher Robert, but having a long-term affair with Jerry, a literary agent and Robert's best friend, a synopsis said.
