The inductees were announced Tuesday.

Also to be honored at the April 18 event at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE are Lou Adler and Quincy Jones.

This marks the first time since 1993 that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on the West Coast. The ceremony will again be open to the public, as it was in 2009 and 2012 in Cleveland, where the hall has been located since it was established in 1983.

"We are thrilled to announce this year's class of inductees, which again represents the broad, compelling and significant definition of rock and roll," Joel Peresman, president and chief executive officer of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said in a statement.

TAYLOR SWIFT: U.S. country music star Taylor Swift and Harry Styles spent the weekend together in England where Styles' band, One Direction, performed, E! News reported.

Swift, 22, and Styles, 18, left New York on Swift's private jet Friday night and arrived at England's Luton airport around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

"The rest of the band were a bit annoyed about the whole thing," a source told E! News Monday. "They took a Virgin commercial flight and there were tons of spare seats on the jet. They were a bit miffed that Harry chose to go with her instead of them. They had just finished a huge concert in New York and all of them were on a high; the fact he left them to travel solo irritated them a bit."

Swift and Styles went to Styles' apartment in London soon after their plane landed.

"Saturday night, 1D performed at the O2 arena," the insider said. "After 1D's performance, Taylor got on the boy's tour bus and took the 3 1/2-hour drive from London to Manchester with the rest of the band. It was a nice gesture of her. And definitely came across as her way of making nice with everyone, of bridging the gap. She wanted to show them she is one of the boys."

BROOKE MUELLER: Brooke Mueller, the ex-wife of Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen, is in rehab undergoing treatment for drug addiction, her attorney said.

The move comes after she suffered an overdose of the psycho-stimulant Adderall last week and was hospitalized, TMZ said. She checked into an undisclosed treatment center Monday night, but it is unclear how long she will be there.

"Brooke was uncomfortable with the way Adderall was making her behave," Mueller's attorney, Yale Galanter, told the celebrity news website, confirming her rehab stay.

Mueller has been to rehab more than 15 times to undergo treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, TMZ said.

She and Sheen, who has battled his own substance abuse issues for years, are the parents of twin 3-year-old sons. The couple married in 2008, separated in 2009 and were officially divorced last year.

SHIA LaBEOUF: Actors Shia LaBeouf and Alec Baldwin will headline the first Broadway production of Lyle Kessler's play "Orphans" this spring, producers said Tuesday.

Directed by Daniel Sullivan, the drama is to begin performances March 19 and to open April 7 at Schoenfeld Theatre.

This will mark the first Broadway staging of the play, as well as LaBeouf's debut on the Great White Way.

"In the play, two orphaned brothers are living in a decrepit North Philadelphia row house. Treat, the eldest, played by LaBeouf, supports his damaged younger sibling by petty thievery, and makes the house a virtual prison for the seemingly simple-minded Phillip," a synopsis said. "One night he kidnaps a rich older man, Harold [played by Baldwin,] who turns out to have his own motives and becomes the father figure the boys have always yearned for."

Casting for the role of Phillip will be announced soon, producers said.
