Arndt has already spent months writing a 40-to 50-page treatment for the final trilogy of the Star Wars Saga, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

The story will focus on the Skywalker family -- comprised of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, and twins Luke and Princes Leia. The story would feature Mark Hamill (Luke) and Carrie Fisher (Leia) as older versions of the characters they made popular in the 1970s and 80s, the entertainment publication said.

Citing sources whose names it did not report, The Hollywood Reporter said a number of other characters from the first six films could appear in the final three.

Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy has yet to name a director for the project, though "The Incredibles" director Brad Bird has been mentioned in connection with the series.

Arndt won an Academy Award for his screenplay for "Little Miss Sunshine." His next project is co-writing the "Hunger Games" sequel "Catching Fire."

Lawrence: 'I'm considered a fat actress'

HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Jennifer Lawrence says she's considered overweight by Hollywood standards, but she has no interest in starving herself for a role.

In an interview with Elle magazine, the "Hunger Games" actress conceded she does not fit the Hollywood standard of beauty.

"In Hollywood, I'm obese," the 22-year-old said. "I'm considered a fat actress."

She said she doesn't crash diet for roles and doesn't want to send that message to her young fans, CNN reported Friday.

"I eat like a caveman. I'll be the only actress who doesn't have anorexia rumors," Lawrence said.

"I don't want little girls to be like, 'Oh, I want to look like [her 'Hunger Games' character] Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner," she said. "That's something I was really conscious of during training [for the movie], when you're trying to get your body to look exactly right. I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong -- not thin and underfed."

Lawrence said her boyfriend, "X-Men" co-star Nicholas Hoult, admires her body as it is.

"He's my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody," she said.

Bieber, Gomez split up

HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Canadian pop star Justin Bieber and U.S. singer Selena Gomez have split up, sources told People magazine.

"She broke up with him about a week ago," a source, whose name was not reported, told the magazine for a report published Saturday. "With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end."

Bieber, 18, and Gomez, 20, made their relationship public in February 2011 after months of dating in secret.

Rumors swirled in August 2011 and again in July of this year that the two had broken up, People reported.

"I don't ever want her to feel like I'm ashamed of her," Bieber said of Gomez in an interview with Oprah Winfrey set to air Nov 25.
