"We are extremely saddened to report that our friend and beloved member of the 'Swamp People' family, Mitchell Guist, has passed away earlier today," The History Channel said in a statement Monday. He and his brother, Glenn, "were born and raised on the bayou and live entirely off the land," The History Channel said on its Web site in a biography for the brothers.

"These brothers are always up to something, whether it's hunting for their dinner or making use of everything nature has to offer. This season, the boys are hoping to repair their homes with cypress wood from the swamp and maybe even catch a gator. One thing is for sure: Their adventures always lead to interesting places," the biography said.

SARAH HYLAND: U.S. actress Sarah Hyland told Seventeen magazine she suffers from kidney dysplasia and last month underwent a transplant with a kidney her father donated.

Hyland, 21, stars on the sitcom "Modern Family."

"You know that family is going to be there for you no matter what," the actress told the magazine.

"My dad gave me a freakin' kidney! But it's also the families that you create outside of your family. And you really find out what kind of people you're friends with. It was just amazing, and it really opened my eyes to see who's there for me and who's not. ... I have a second chance at life -- not a lot of people get that."

DAN STEVENS: Dan Stevens, one of the stars of the British TV series "Downton Abbey," will make his Broadway debut in "The Heiress," the play's producers said Monday.

Stevens will co-star with previously announced cast members Jessica Chastain and David Strathairn in the stage drama by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz, based on Henry James' novel "Washington Square."

"I couldn't ask for a more exciting Broadway debut: to work on such a fascinating play, with such fantastic actors as Jessica Chastain and David Strathairn and one of Broadway's great directors, Moises Kaufman. I can't wait to get started," Stevens said in a statement.

The production is to begin performances in October. In it, Stevens will play the role of Morris Townsend, the ambitious charmer a wealthy man doesn't want his daughter to wed. His previous stage work includes roles in "Arcadia," "Every Good Boy Deserves Favor," "The Vortex," "Hay Fever," "Much Ado About Nothing" and "As You Like It."

"When Grayson complains that he's living the movie 'Groundhog Day' because the gang shows up at the same time every day at Jules' house, Jules asks for a 'Groundhog Day'-themed bachelorette party so that Ellie and Laurie can explain the movie to her. Then, fed up with the lack of privacy, Grayson convinces Jules to elope to Napa ... but the cul de sac crew happily tags along," ABC said in a synopsis of the May 29 episode of the show. "David Arquette guest stars as a hotel concierge who'll go to great -- and possibly illegal -- lengths to help the wine wedding go off without a hitch."

Cox plays Jules, Josh Hopkins plays Grayson, Christa Miller plays Ellie and Busy Philipps plays Laurie on the show, which will be moving from ABC to TBS for its upcoming fourth season.

Arquette and Cox separated in 2010 after 11 years of marriage, but have remained close friends. He is best known for his work in the "Scream" film franchise and for competing on TV's "Dancing with the Stars." He now lends his voice to an animated parrot in the series "Jake and the Never Land Pirates."
